Why is there no CSA this year?

This change will allow us to streamline production and dedicate more time to developing our new farm. We hope this structure continues to serve your needs as we grow!

Wait, you have a new farm?

Last fall, we purchased an ~80 acre farm at the NW corner of the HWY 81 & 136 intersection south of Hebron. As the future home of Hintz Produce, there is a lot of work to be done to transform this blank slate into a local food hub! This year, it will host a Farm Stand for self-serve produce sales throughout the week.

How will I know what is available?

We will do our best to share this information each week on Instagram and Facebook. If in doubt, stop by our Farm Stand OR a local market to check it out!

Are you coming to Lincoln, Fairbury, or Beatrice this year?

Unfortunately, no. As part of our streamlining, we are focusing on our 3 primary markets.

What if I want peas, beans, etc.?

Because we are only growing our top 6 items this summer, consider planting your own garden this spring or finding them from another local producer!

What if I end with not enough or too many Farm Bucks?

You can always spend cash if you run out of Farm Bucks before the end of the season. If you have some unspent, we’ll honor them next year.

If I don’t sign up for Farm Bucks, can I still buy produce?

Absolutely. However, signing up this spring offers you a discount and really helps our cash flow!

How do I keep track of my Farm Bucks?

We will keep a running record at the Farm Stand and Farmers’ Markets, so you can check your balance any time you stop!
